A number of major international food and fibre processors are associated with value adding to regional production including: Teys Australia, a major export abattoir headquartered in Wagga Wagga; Riverina Oils and Bio Energy (ROBE) who are building an integrated oilseed crushing and refining plant with a full crushing capacity of 175,000 tonnes (Canola, Safflower, Cotton, Soyabean and Sunflower seeds) per year.; and meat products exporter Heinz-Watties.
