PROPOSED RIVERINA INTERMODAL FREIGHT & LOGISTICS (RIFL) HUB
The proposed project to establish the Riverina Intermodal Freight and Logistics (RIFL) Hub at the Bomen Business Park involves the construction of integrated rail, road and freight logistics infrastructure.
The RIFL Hub will provide freight consolidation, logistics support and open access rail transport services for businesses throughout the Riverina and will include a grain packing service and container storage site. The Hub will initially focus on providing bulky goods long line-haul rail services to and from the ports of Melbourne, Sydney, Port Kembla and Brisbane.
