COMMERCIALISATION AUSTRALIA


Commercialisation Australia is directed at researchers, entrepreneurs and innovative companies. The program is broken down into three stages and applicants can apply for all or one of the stages.

  • Stage one is directed at developing the skills and knowledge of the applicant. The program offers up to $50,000 to the applicant to access specialist advice and services for activities including market research and analysis, business planning and intellectual property management. And up to $200,000 over two years to assist in the recruitment of experienced executives.
  • Stage two focuses on the proof of concept whereby the applicant can access up to $250, 000 to prove the viability of the company.
  • The third stage is a repayable loan of up to $2 million which aids the applicant in the commercialisation of the business. Throughout this program applicants are assigned case managers and volunteer mentors to assist in the development process.
