The city of Wagga Wagga knows that its growth is dependent on an economically vibrant region with strong state and federal government connections. Wagga Wagga takes seriously its role as the region's capital and is conscious of developing a collective regional approach in ecouraging economic development in southern NSW.
Wagga Wagga City Council has established agreements with major institutions within the city. Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) have been signed with the Wagga Wagga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga Medical Specialist Recruitment and Retention Committee and TAFE NSW - Riverina Institute. These MOUs capture a collective approach to fostering growth in the city.
