COMMERCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STANDING COMMITTEE

The primary aim of the Commercial & Economic Development Standing Committee is to identify and address issues in relation to economic development within Wagga Wagga, council businesses (property, Livestock Marketing Centre and the Wagga Wagga Airport) and Tourism. The role of the Standing Committee is to discuss reports that form part of a recommendation to Wagga Wagga City Council.

The first meeting of the Commnercial & Economic Development Committee was held on Monday 1 December 2008.  The Standing Committee consists of six Wagga Wagga City Councillors as members and is held once a month on a Monday evening. Business papers and minutes from these meetings can be found on the Wagga Wagga City Council website.
