VISION AND PURPOSE


The vision is clear, by 2026 Wagga Wagga in southern NSW will have confirmed its place as the leading regional city in Australia for sustainable business and balanced living. It is one of Australia's largest inland cities and is currently growing at an annual rate higher than the NSW average.  This strong growth rate underpins a vibrant economy and unique lifestyle that is the envy of many inland Australian cities.

Wagga Wagga has a strong labour force with strengths in defence, manufacturing, agriculture and education.

The city is the capital of the rich Riverina region and its central location and efficient transport links to the major markets of Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide will ensure the city continues to thrive and provide even greater investment opportunities in the years ahead.
