WHO IS IN THE MARKET FOR A JOB?
Market research identified 3 primary markets who were most likely to relocate:
- FAMILITES - aged between 35-44, generally young parents with younger school aged children
- BLOOMERS - aged between 45-54, this group place a high importance on environment and leisure benefits
- FREE-WHEELERS - aged between 25-34 this group are predominantly young parents or couples in the early stages of their careers
The benefits sought from relocation were lifestyle and moving away from the big city and one of the biggest barriers to all 3 primary markets was employment opportunities (statistics taken from September 28, 2010 - December 31, 2010).
