Wagga Wagga City Council together with REROC and Noack's Green Solutions have developed a packaged solution to auditing your business' energy and water usage.
The NSW Government's Energy Efficiency for Small Business Program together with the REROC WaterSmart program which is supported by the NSW Environmental Trust, offers small businesses low cost energy and water assessments. An accredited local assessor will visit your business to prepare an Energy Action Plan and Water Action Plan. Your Action Plans will list energy and water efficiency improvements that can help your business reduce power and water bills and carbon pollution. You can get 4 hours free assistance and up to $5,000 to make energy efficiency improvements that could save your business hundreds on power bills each year.
Take advantage of $5,000 to pay 50 per cent of the cost of energy efficiency improvements and 4 hours free assistance to organise quotes, coordinate tradespeople and assist with installation. Eligible improvements that could receive funding include changes to or upgrading the following types of equipment, commercial fridges & freezers, motors/compressors, lighting, some kitchen equipment, airconditioning/heating and ventilation.
Energy assessments have shown that NSW small businesses can save an average of $1,600 on power bills and 11 tonnes of carbon pollution every year.
